    The concept for Belly BombZ was founded in early 2012 by chef/owner Albert Shim as a food stand at a local Long Beach farmer's market. It only operated on Sundays, where random market goers eventually became weekend regulars. Words of encouragement from those regulars is what inspired Belly BombZ to expand to the food truck that it is today.

We are a small family owned and operated business trying to be an active member in our community. We use old family recipes, and create new ones each day to provide an ever changing menu and provide for multiple experiences.

  • The Grilled Cheese Truck

    The Grilled Cheese Truck started as a joint venture between Dave Danhi (a Los Angeles-based chef) and Michele Grant (an entrepreneur). Danhi devised the idea when he competed in the 7th Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational, a grilled cheese competition, that takes place every Spring in Los Angeles, California. As he left the competition and saw the food trucks lined up outside, as well as the interest in grilled cheese from the competition, he got the idea to open the "grilled cheese food truck"

  • California Kettle Corn

    California Kettle Corn has been family owned and operated by Richard Buchalter since the summer of 2007. Every golden kernel of his superior quality popping corn is American grown in the Midwest, and hand popped with care in California. Richard was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by the City of Moorpark and can be found personally hand-popping his kettle corn at fairs, farmer’s markets, local events, and at his Kettle Corn shop in Newbury Park, CA. We use NON-GMO corn in our product.
